The two photos below are of a space recreated in a physical model. The objective was not to recreate the mere building or room, but to recreate the light, the textures and atmosphere.
The line drawing is a recreation of Bedford Square nr. 15, London, in elevation and section. The study shows how the building carefully manages thresholds from the pavement to the staircase and into the house itself. Further it investigates the richness found in a seemingly simple fasade.
